In honor of Board Appreciation Month, all of the schools in the Pleasant Valley district made an effort at Thursday evening's meeting to let the board of education members know that they are appreciated.

The conference room for the school board meeting was decked out with posters, and there were some treats waiting for the members when they sat down to the meeting.Representatives from each of the buildings were there to express their appreciation for the board.The highlight was a video of the third-grade chorus presented by Pleasant Valley Elementary Principal Erica Greer."The kiddos made this video to show how much we all appreciate what you do for all of us," Greer said in her introduction.The chorus sang a song, aptly titled, "Thank You, Thank You."
