Volunteers neededThe Borough of Lansford is seeking volunteers to fill the following board vacancies at its March 9 meeting.Applicants must be over age 18, a resident of Lansford, and be available to attend meetings.Planning commission: one open seat, four-year term, meetings are held as needed.Zoning hearing board: two alternate seats open, three-year term, meetings are held as needed.Vacancy board: one open seat, one-year term, meets with council if a council vacancy occurs.Health officer: Someone experienced in public health work to enforce the health ordinances of the borough, one seat, indefinite term.Applications by letter of interest will be accepted in the office of the borough secretary, 1 W.
