PORT CLINTON, Pa. (AP) - Pennsylvania State Police say people risk getting a ticket for trespassing at an increasingly popular swimming hole in Schuylkill County.

Peace Rock in the Port Clinton Area is owned by the state Environmental Protection Department, but is not open to the public.State police say the area was known mostly to local residents until it was brought to the attention of others by social media.The number of visitors has grown into the hundreds, causing problems with parking and trash.State police say jumping off Peace Rock and swimming in the river is also dangerous. Troopers have investigated an average of one drowning a year, including the most recent on July 24.
