A Monroe County man was jailed over the weekend, charged with firing a gun at three individuals.

State police at Fern Ridge identified the suspect as Thomas Sabater, 59, of Effort. No one was injured.Troopers said that Sabater is accused of firing a Ruger 357 handgun in the direction of Jason Sabater, 25, Corey Sabater, 23, both of Effort, and Robert Rutkowski, 24, of Tobyhanna.The incident occurred about 10:10 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, at 2274 SR115 in Chestnuthill Township, troopers said.Sabater was placed into custody and arraigned on charges of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering and related offenses. He was remanded to the county prison, troopers said.
