Contest open to Nesquehoning trick-or-treaters

Nesquehoning trick-or-treaters will have a chance to win pizza and wings if their costumes are the best.

The Nesquehoning Recreation Center, in conjunction with Nesquehoning police and Rosetta’s Pizzeria are partnering together for a borough costume contest during trick-or-treat night in the borough. The event is open to Nesquehoning children and will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the recreation center.

To enter, trick-or-treaters have to visit the Nesquehoning Police Department, which is located on the side of the recreation center, and take a photo in front of the department in full Halloween costume. They must then post the picture on the Nesquehoning Recreation Center’s Facebook post about the contest.

The three top costumes will be chosen from the pictures received.

Winners will be contacted via Facebook and receive a large plain pizza and wings or a 2-liter bottle of soda from Rosetta’s.
