SCHUYLKILL COUNTY SENTENCINGS
An Andreas man had 22 charges, including rape of a child and related charges, dropped in a plea deal.
Jesse Lee Lorah, 38, will serve 24 months of probation on the sole remaining charge, simple assault, to which he pleaded no contest.
Schuylkill County Judge Christina E. Hale said the victim agreed to the deal.
She ordered Lorah to pay the costs of prosecution and to provide a DNA sample and pay the $250 fee.
Lorah was charged by West Penn Township Police Chief James E. Bonner with five counts each of rape of a child, sexual assault, statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors, indecent assault without the consent of other, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years of age, and aggravated indecent assault of child on Jan. 1, 2007.
Lisa Lindenmuth, 57, of Coaldale, was charged by borough police officer Matthew O. Jungbaer with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault, resisting arrest, and harassment on May 12.
Schuylkill County President Judge Jacqueline L. Russell sentenced her to 7 to 23 months in jail on the threats charge.
She also ordered Lindenmuth to pay the costs of prosecution, pay $1,341 in restitution, provide a DNA sample and pay the $250 fee, pay a $50 monthly fee for non-confinement supervision, and to undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with any recommendations.
Russell gave her credit for time served from May 25 to Sept. 29.
On the simple assault charge, Russell sentenced Lindenmuth to two years probation after she completes her prison sentence.
On the charge of resisting arrest, Russell sentenced her to 6 to 12 months in jail, to run concurrently with terroristic threats sentence.
The remaining charges were dropped.
Marcos A Perez, 31, of Lansford, was charged by Coaldale police officer Thomas V. Sabulsky Jr. with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, impaired ability, first offense; driving under the influence of a controlled substance, schedule 1 drug, first offense; driving under the influence of a controlled substance, metabolite, first offense; and driving while his operating privileges were suspended or revoked on June 19, 2018.
Russell sentenced Perez on the charge of driving under suspension to pay the costs of prosecution plus a $504.66 bench warrant fee, pay a $200 fine, and pay $67 in fees.
The remaining charges were dropped in the plea deal.
Ronald P. Dries, 40, of Tamaqua, was charged by borough police officer Thomas C. Rodgers with two counts of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, and one count each of criminal use of a communication facility, and possession of a controlled substance on Sept. 23, 2021.
Judge Christina E. Hale sentenced Dries to serve 3 to 23 months in jail, starting Oct. 14; pay the costs of prosecution; pay $150 in fees and pay $113 restitution on the delivery charge.
The remaining charges were dropped.
