• A two-vehicle crash was reported at 7:17 p.m. on Sept. 22 along Route 924 at the intersection with the on-ramp to Interstate 81 northbound.

Troopers said Walter Aikens, 46, of Freeland, was driving a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek southbound in the left lane entering the intersection with a yellow traffic signal. James N. Gaudio, 26, of Albrightsville, was driving a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer northbound in the left turn lane and started to make a left turn for I81 ramp. The front of the Subaru struck the Mitsubishi on the right side.

No one was injured. Both vehicles had to be towed.

Gaudio was cited for the crash.

• Troopers investigated a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 93 and East Arthur Gardner Parkway.

Troopers said Sarah E. Williams, 34, of Hazleton, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse southbound on Route 93 and approaching the intersection with a solid green light. Williams entered the intersection as Selina M. Polusky, 32, of Delano, driving a 2018 Subaru, was northbound on 93 and made a left turn to go onto East Arthur Gardner Parkway in front of Williams. The front of the Traverse struck the right front of the Subaru.

Williams continued southbound and her vehicle struck a 2022 Toyota Highlander driven by Chad A. Ruggiero, 49, of McAdoo, on the left side. Ruggiero was eastbound and stopped for a red light.

Ruggiero was injured and taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton Campus. There were no other injuries reported. All three vehicles had to be towed.

Troopers cited Polusky for obedience to traffic control devices.
