Mahoning Township Police have just charged a Lehigh County man after a two-car crash in Mahoning Township.

Township police said that at 2:08 p.m. Feb. 11, police investigated the crash on Route 443 at Mahoning Mountain Road, in which there were no injuries.An eastbound Toyota Avalon, driven by Gerald Sinclair, 64, of Woodbury, New Jersey, stopped for the traffic light, when it was rear-ended by a Dodge Sprinter van driven by Charles Chapman, 24, of Allentown.As a result of the investigation, Chapman has been charged with four counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, careless driving, driving vehicle at an unsafe speed, and driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 18.
