State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a theft that happened between 8 a.m. July 23 and 3 p.m. July 24 in Towamensing Township.

The victim is Christopher David Housel, 42, of 155 Saw Mill Lane, Lehighton.He told police someone took a woodstove, burn pit and two remote controls for remote control helicopters from his residence. The items stolen have a combined value of $850, police said.
