Mr. and Mrs. Pat Canfield of the Lewistown Valley became millionaires Monday when they struck it rich for $1.5 million in the Pennsylvania Lotto.

The Canfields, who are the operators of the Rose mount Camp Resort in the Lewistown Valley, won $1,523,851.56. Every year for the next 21 years, they will receive $58,051.49, after taxes are deducted.

Mrs. Canfield bought the winning ticket as a 65th birthday present for her husband at Redner’s in Leesport, where they made a stop after visiting a friend who is a patient in the Reading Hospital.
