One of six defendants charged in a drug-dealing ring entered a guilty plea in Carbon County court on Monday and faces a state prison term at the time of sentencing.
Jesse Lincovich, 40, who lists his address as the county prison, where he is currently an inmate, pleaded to one count each of corrupt organization, a felony 1; and criminal conspiracy - possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony.
The pleas were accepted by President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II, who deferred sentencing and ordered the adult probation office to prepare a presentence investigation report.
Lincovich was arrested on Jan. 1, 2019, as part of an ongoing investigation into drug dealing in the area.
Six were arrested at the time. Others charged with Lincovich were Joe Forster, Allison Sanders, Chris Felker, Brian Kehl and Chris Keer Jr.
The yearlong investigation involving narcotic agents from the state Attorney General’s Office in Allentown, Lehighton and Summit Hill police departments. Search warrants were obtained, which led to the arrests. Lincovich was arrested following a vehicle stop in Tamaqua.
The Attorney General’s Office will be prosecuting the case. The charges filed against the six were corrupt organization - two counts, delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility and criminal conspiracy.
The other cases are pending.
