Fire companies from Schuylkill, Carbon, Berks and Lehigh counties were on the scene Sunday of a working dwelling fire in West Penn Township. The fire was reported around 1:30 p.m. Sunday at 17 Poplar Drive involving a dwelling and attached garage. Reports from the scene were the fire may have been sparked by a car fire in the garage.
