Carbon County Salary Board made a number of salary moves during its monthly meeting on Thursday.

Salary board actions include:Clerk of Courts• Change the salary of one first deputy from $44,826.60 per year to $27,955.20 per year, effective Oct. 3.• Abolish the position of one first deputy trainee at $27,955.20 per year, effective Oct. 3.Bureau of Collections• Change the salary of one director from $35,399 per year to $36,472.80 per year, effective Oct. 14.Controller• Change the salary of one first deputy from $45,227 per year to $34,689.20 per year, effective Oct. 10.• Abolish the position of one first deputy trainee at $34,689.20 per year, effective Oct. 10.District Attorney• Change the salary of one full-time assistant district attorney from $56,000 per year to $57,680 per year, effective Oct. 27.Sheriff• Change the rate of one deputy sheriff from $12.77 per hour to $12.40 per hour, effective Oct. 2.Corrections• Change the rate of one part-time LPN from $20 per hour to $20.60 per hour, effective Oct. 27.
