OLOAA March Students of the Month

Nine students from Our Lady of the Angels Academy were selected as the Students of the Month for the month of March for their efforts in displaying the virtue of honesty.

Each student who was honored with receiving the title of Student of the Month has reflected on their actions to help them achieve the award.Kindergarten, Serrenity Serrano: "I try to be honest in school."First grade, Samuel Homyak: "I am honest. The truth is always best no matter what."Second grade, Madison Miller: "It is good to tell the truth so you don't get in trouble and hurt someone's feelings."Third grade, Ryli McGorry: "Telling the truth is best because lies make things worse."Fourth grade, Anthony Soberick: "My mom and dad taught me that it's always best to tell the truth even though it's not easy sometimes. When I lie, I disappoint my parents and Jesus and I feel bad. I am happy to be a part of OLOAA where they teach me the importance of virtues like honesty."Fifth grade, Corey Rehnert: "I try to always tell the truth, even if I am going to get in trouble. I always do my own work and don't cheat."Sixth grade, Bryan Smith: "I showed honesty even when I got in trouble and I didn't lie about it."Seventh grade, Alexa Sandefer: "Honesty is the best policy. I try to live by this virtue."Eighth grade, Julia Hoben: "I display honesty throughout the day. I strive to be honest with myself and others. I try to tell the truth, even when it is difficult."
