Royal C. Towle Jr. has been installed as Worshipful Master of the F. & A.M. Lodge No. 238, Tamaqua.

Towle is a member of the Tamaqua Royal Arch Chapter 177, where he is currently the treasurer and a past high priest, and the Ivanhoe Commandery No. 31 of Mahanoy City, where he is the eminent commander.

Towle is a teller at the American Bank and Trust Company’s Tamaqua branch.

Also installed in leadership positions were Charles L. Klingaman, who will serve as the senior warden of the lodge, and Vaal E. Kester, junior warden.

The outgoing worshipful master is Don E. Emerich.
