Though snow accumulation have generally been less than a few inches early this morning, the National Weathe Service is warning people about slick spots in the roads.

It doesn`t take much snow to cause slippery conditions on untreated surfaces, bridges, and overpasses.

If driving this morning please exercise caution. Allow extra time to reach your destination, reduce speed, increase following distance with the vehicle in front of you, and avoid using cruise control. The snow could also reduce the visibility to less than one mile at times.

Most area schools are on remote learning today. Schuylkill County government offices will open at 9:30 a.m.. today.
