Nominating petitions for the upcoming May 18 election are available at The Schuylkill County Election office. Feb. 16 is the first day candidates can obtain signatures.

The last filing date is 4:30 p.m. March 9.

Petitions are available for Democratic and Republican candidates for the following: county offices, Magisterial District Judge 21-2-01, Magisterial District Judge 21-3-01, Magisterial District Judge 21-3-05, mayor, borough council, township supervisor, city of Pottsville tax collector and auditor, school board director, constable, and judge of elections and inspector of elections.
