Miller blood drive

Miller-Keystone Blood Center will conduct its next Palmerton Community blood drive on March 4 at the 1st United Church of Church, next to Palmerton Borough Hall. Registration hours have been extended from 11:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. in an effort to accommodate more commuters. This visit is sponsored by Horsehead Community Development Fund.The Palmerton area is fortunate to have a number of "regulars" who donate at nearly every Miller drive, but more first-time and occasional donors are needed. Anyone over 17, weighing at least 110 pounds, and in general good health, who has not donated since Jan. 8, is eligible. First-time Miller donors should bring photo ID, such as a driver's license.
