Locally, Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has had a total of 117 residents test positive for COVID-19, according to reports issued Tuesday.

“Most importantly 53 residents have been confirmed resolved by our medical team and we have every expectation that more will be resolved later this week,” the home said in a release.

• In Carbon County, five nursing homes have reported 289 cases in residents, and 55 deaths, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health website updated Tuesday.

• In Lehigh County, 38 homes have reported 1,410 cases in residents, with 309 deaths.

• Luzerne County has 41 facilities reporting 1,222 cases and 202 deaths.

• Monroe County has eight facilities reporting 367 cases and 75 deaths.

• In Northampton County, 30 facilities are reporting 1,122 cases and 272 deaths.

• Schuylkill County has 19 facilities reporting 710 cases with 118 deaths.
