Tamaqua High School's indoor pool remains on track to be ready in time for the swimming and diving season.

District Chief Operations Officer Ken Dunkelberger discussed the matter with board members at a committee meeting Tuesday.The project, which replaced a section of roof at the high school, has been completed.The roof is up, and the next step is for preparations for the natatorium to be able to be used.The district is still looking at its targeted date of Nov. 1.The roof on the 50-year-old pool had never been replaced.The project was expected to cost $425,000 once completed.Also on Tuesday, Dunkelberger reviewed the status of the athletic fields.Repairs have been made to the infield, as the old infield mix was taken out and new infield mix put in, and some sod has been put down.
