Franklin Township supervisors took the following action on Tuesday:
• Heard a proposal from Woody Frey to construct three additional storage units at Bunker Hill by the ball field where there are existing storage units and a day care. The board will review the matter with the township zoning officer.
• Authorized secretary Brenda Cressley to advertise the board’s intent to hire independent auditors to audit all the township’s 2020 accounts.
• Adopted a resolution establishing the criteria under the Volunteer Service Credit Program (Volunteer Tax Credit Ordinance).
• On a 2-0 vote, authorized Girard Pension Services as trustee to adjust eligible retired police officer Thomas Beltz’s COLA at a rate of 1.3%, effective Jan. 1, 2021. Supervisor Barbara Beltz abstained because Thomas is her husband.
• Adopted a resolution with regard to disposition of Sara Keiser, tax collector, various records as stated in the resolution from 2010-2017.
