Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation released an update Wednesday night about COVID-19 cases in the facility.
According to the release, 54 patients have tested positive.
All staff were being Wednesday and Thursday.
“Thank you to the resident families and community who have shown us a tremendous outpouring of support in these difficult times,” Devin Mickey, vice president of Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
“Most of all, thank you to all of our staff, who have never wavered and continue to show up for our residents each and every day.”
On Nov. 6, 24 positive residents were isolated to one wing. Three positive staff who were identified through testing prior to work and did not provide care to any residents since the outbreak. One positive resident was on another wing.
