Polk Township’s Memorial Commission invites all Polk Township veterans to stop by the Polk Township Veterans Memorial on Wednesday from noon to 4 p.m.

The commission wants to honor all those who have served or currently are serving in the U.S. armed forces. Light refreshments will be served.

Commission members will be collecting filled out Veterans’ Memorial forms and will be happy to give any Polk Township veteran a form to fill out if they haven’t already completed one. The goal is to reach out to the township veterans so if their name isn’t already on the memorial plaques it can be added before the rededication in May 2021.
