Credit defaults

The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.

Midland Credit Management, Philadelphia, filed against Ceaira Swartley, 258 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, seeking $2,468.31.

Citibank, Fort Washington, filed against Robert S. Meredith, 150 Horseshoe Drive, Palmerton, seeking $7,948.08.

Mortgage foreclosure

The following action was filed as a mortgage foreclosure for the alleged default on a loan.

The Neffs National Bank, c/o 5629 Route 873, Neffs, filed an action against John W. Hawk, 825 Overlook Drive, Lehighton, over property at that address. Sought is $21,265.92 plus continuing interest.

Damage suit

Donegal Mutual Insurance Company, as subrogee of Mary Kristoff, 1195 River Road, Marietta, Lancaster County, filed an action against Arthur Card, 122 W. Ridge St., Lansford.

The suit states on or about March 21, 2019, due to the negligence of the defendant in failing to property tarp Kristoff’s roof, the insured premises sustained water damages.

Negligence is alleged against the defendant and sought is damages of $54,805.17 plus interest, costs and fees.
