A 17-year-old Lehighton girl was one of two people injured in a one-vehicle crash at 12:27 p.m. Sunday on King's Highway in Lower Milford Township.

State police at the Fogelsville barracks said Riligh K. Heller, who was a passenger in the vehicle, sustained minor injuries and was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, by the Macungie EMS unit.A second passenger, Giselle M. Geist, 16, of Emmaus, was the other person hurt. She too sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, police said.The girls were riding in a 2012 Kia Optima that was being driven by Clayton J. Miller, 18, of Coopersburg. He and a third passenger, Anthony M. Pantalione, 16, of Zionsville, were uninjured.Police said the vehicle was southbound on King's Highway and rounded a right-handed turn when it traveled off the highway, skidded about 50 feet and flipped over, coming to rest on its roof.The operator was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
