Oktoberfest at a bank?

That’s the celebration that awaits customers of the Neffs National Bank.

The bank will host its second annual Oktoberfest from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.

The event will be held at both its Neffs and Walnutport branch offices.

There will be free bratwursts, hot dogs, sauerkraut, soft pretzels, root beer and birch beer.

The Neffs National Bank opened its second branch at 211 S. Best Ave. in Walnutport in April.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the grand opening at the new site wasn’t held until July 23.

The Neffs National Bank’s first branch at 5629 Route 873, Neffs, was originally founded in 1923.
