Defendants who were sentenced on DUI charges by Judge Steven R. Serfass included:

Jeffrey Aaron Moyer, 31, of Parryville, was arrested on Feb. 4, 2014, along Route 248 at Parryville by state police at Lehighton. A test showed the presence of a controlled substance. He had also pleaded to one count of possession of a controlled substance. During the stop troopers found three bags of heroin in the vehicle.On the DUI count he was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in jail, a fine of $1,000, one-year license suspension, and render 25 hours of community service.On the possession count he was placed on probation for 24 months, consecutive to the DUI charge and zero tolerance imposed on drug and alcohol use and render an additional 100 hours of community service.Cody Ryan Sallada, 23, of Lehighton, was arrested on Sept. 12, 2014, along Second Street in Lehighton by state police at Lehighton. Given a test, the result was 0.11 BAC.He was sentenced to serve 5 days to 6 months in prison, a fine of $300, one year license suspension and render 25 hours of community service.He began his jail term at 9 a.m. on Sept. 9.Franics L. Lockwood, 26, of Lehighton, was arrested on Nov. 22, 2013, along First Street in Lehighton by state police at Lehighton. Given a test, the result showed the presence of a controlled substance.He was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in jail, a fine of $1,000, one year license suspension and render 25 hours of community service.He will begin the jail term at 4 p.m. on Sept. 18.Michael Joseph Neff Jr., 21, of Lehighton, was arrested on May 27, 2013, along Main Street in Franklin Township by state police at Lehighton. Tests showed the presence of a controlled substance.He was sentenced to serve 90 days to 60 months in prison, a fine of $1,500, one-year license suspension and render 150 hours of community service. He was given credit for 14 days already served.He will begin the jail term at 9 a.m. on Sept. 27.Bobby Anthony Worley, 48, of East Stroudsburg, was arrested on March 26 by state police at Lehighton.A first offense, he was placed on probation for six months and ordered to pay a fine of $300 and render 25 hours of community service.Each defendant must also pay court costs of about $1,000, and a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
