Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following curriculum and instruction matters this week:

• An agreement between the Northern Lehigh School District and Behavioral Health Associated License Private Academic School for regular education or special education programs for the students for the 2020-2021 school year.

• Agreement for the 2020-2021 academic year with the Center for Humanistic Change Inc. to provide Student Assistance Program Liaison services. The Student Assistance Teams in the school district will use these services.

• The following teachers as helping teachers in the Northern Lehigh School District Induction Program for the 2020-2021 school year: Jamie Bigley, Helping Teacher, Katlyn Parsons, inductee; Scott Gerould, Helping Teacher, Ryan Cunningham, inductee; Jason Reinhard, Helping Teacher, Damon Rex, inductee, at the stipend of $200 each.

• To allow administration to continue membership in the Lehigh University School Study Council at a fee of $1,250 for the 2020-2021 school year, to be paid from the superintendent’s budget.

• To execute an Affiliation Agreement between Northern Lehigh School District and Muhlenberg College for a teacher preparation program that allows students at Muhlenberg College to student teach at Northern Lehigh in order for them to complete their practicum hours needed for graduation, through July 31, 2025.?
