An investigation of the body of an infant girl who was found to have been placed on the side of a road in Schuylkill County in 1993 continues.

The Pennsylvania State Police Frackville barracks continues its investigation from June 13, 1993, when the body was found on the side of the road on Darkwater Lane, about three-quarters of a mile west of Route 61 in New Castle Township.

The baby was wrapped in a blanket and a bathmat, then placed in a trash bag and placed on the side of the road at that location.

Frackville police have investigated the case over the years; however the baby remains unidentified.
