Mahoning Township police reported investigating a road rage incident.
Police said on July 29 at 147p.m. a 911 caller reported road rage at the Carbon Plaza Mall on Route 443. The caller, Colton Gogoy of Jim Thorpe, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a Danielle Deangelis. The two were trying to find a nail salon. While driving slow in an attempt to locate the entrance to the Carbon Plaza Mall they were being followed closely by another vehicle. Deangelis told Gogoy about the vehicle, and he "flipped the bird" to the other vehicle.The vehicle followed them into the lot where Gogoy, and the driver of the other vehicle, Timothy Mulvihill, of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey , and Franklin Township, came face to face. Gogoy had been given a can of pepper spray by Deangelis who was wheelchair bound. Gogoy threatened to spray Mulvihill. Mulvihill then slapped the can from Gogoy's hand. Gogoy attempted to pick the can up and he was kneed in the jaw by Mulvihill. Mulvihill stated he felt he was being "brake checked". As a result of the incident Mulvihill has been charged with a summary count of harassment.
