Sacred Heart Parish, Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, is continuing to offer its regular weekend Mass schedule following all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and diocesan directives during this time of pandemic.

Worshippers are asked to call the rectory office indicating how many in your family will be attending to assure seating. Our seating capacity is limited to 160 per Mass. Safe distancing and wearing of a mask is asked of all attending. Our 9:30 a.m. Mass will continue to be livestreamed on Facebook for those who cannot join us.

This weekend we will celebrate the 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time and St. Matthew’s Gospel focuses on the seed that falls on good ground that will yield a fruitful harvest. May the soul of all be receptive to His Word and may each of us bear fruit that is pleasing and beneficial.

The parish calendar for July 2020 to June 2021 is now open. To schedule any activity in the church, annex, parish center or social hall, please submit your dates and times requested in writing for approval.

The Men of Sacred Heart will hold their bimonthly meeting this Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. All men, 18 or older, are most welcome to participate.
