CANADENSIS (AP) - Relatives say three men killed in a pickup truck crash in northeastern Pennsylvania were hunting buddies headed to the driver's camp in the Poconos.
That man, 49-year-old Thomas Howey Jr. of Palmer Township in Northampton County, was the only one to survive the Sunday afternoon crash. He's in Lehigh Valley Hospital with serious injuries.
State troopers from Blooming Grove say three others in the truck died when Howey lost control and crashed into a tree in Greene Township, Pike County, about 3:40 p.m.
The dead men are 46-year-old Barry Foose, of Easton; 58-year-old Timothy Gerhard, of Plainfield Township; and 38-year-old Eric Dunbar, of Roseto. All were from Northampton County.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
None of the men were wearing seat belts.
