Today is "Doughnut Day," also known as "Fat Tuesday," "Fauschnaut Day," or "Shrove Tuesday," when millions of people celebrate by enjoying fatty foods and sweets before the Lenten season of fasting begins tomorrow, Ash Wednesday.
