A Carbon County woman was jailed on Sunday, Aug. 5, after causing a disturbance.
Lehighton police said about 8:05 a.m. Kristin Eschbach, 31, of 212 N. Seventh St., Lehighton, was causing a disturbance by screaming obscenities numerous times after being warned to desist. She was placed under arrest for persistent disorderly conduct.She was arraigned before on-call District Judge Edward Lewis, of Jim Thorpe, and committed to the county prison in Nesquehoning after failing to post $5,000 percentage bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 15 at 3:40 p.m. before Lewis.
