Two people were cited after a crash early this month in Mahoning Township.

Police investigated a two-vehicle crash on Route 443 on Country Club Road at 4:55 p.m. Feb.1.An eastbound Chevy S10 driven by Neal Confer of Tamaqua had slowed at the intersection where it was rear-ended by a 2010 Mercedes M35 driven by Monica Mika of Tamaqua.Three people were injured as a result.Confer was cited by police for driving with a suspended license, and Mike was cited for careless driving.
