The Concourse Club of Palmerton is holding the first open meeting of their club year at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Aquashicola Volunteer Fire Company, 270 Little Gap Road, Palmerton. The program will honor our local veterans and be presented by speaker Edward Moyer, Commander of the Palmerton American Legion. The Concourse Club would like to invite the public to join them for the evening’s program followed by light refreshments and fellowship.

The Concourse Club is a women’s civic organization proudly serving the community of Palmerton and surrounding Carbon County communities promoting interests in education, social welfare, governmental affairs and fine arts through community service, scholarships and fundraising activities.
