Weatherly residents are asked to boil their water until further notice after a routine test turned up coliform and E.coli.

The borough is in contact with the state Department of Environmental Protection and is working to correct the problem, a notice from the borough sent Monday afternoon stated.

Samples will be taken daily until samples are clear of coliform bacteria for two consecutive days.

The borough asks for everyone’s patience as it works to resolve this matter and will announce when the boil advisory is lifted.
