Winter adventure is once again earning national recognition in the Pocono Mountains, with Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, and Camelback Resort in Tannersville nominated for the USA Today 10 BEST Readers’ Choice Awards for best place for snow tubing.

Camelback has also been nominated for Best Ski School, highlighting the resort’s long-standing reputation for teaching generations of skiers and riders.

The annual USA Today 10 BEST Readers’ Choice Awards invite readers to weigh in on top destinations and experiences across the country, with nominees selected by a panel of industry experts.

Blue Mountain Resort is home to one of the country’s largest snow tubing parks, with up to 56 lanes for solo or double racing. Its popular sonic snow tubing experience transforms the mountain after dark with a high-energy laser and light show, adding music, lights and an extra dose of excitement to the tubing experience.

Camelback Resort’s snow tubing park is a longtime favorite for winter enthusiasts, featuring more than 40 illuminated lanes and Magic Carpet lifts. The after-dark experience adds colorful lighting to the mountain for an exhilarating winter activity that can be enjoyed by families and groups.

In addition to its snow tubing recognition, Camelback is nominated for Best Ski School, a fitting distinction for a resort with a six-decade legacy of inspiring generations of skiers and riders.

Voting runs through Nov. 9, with readers eligible to cast one vote per day. Winners will be announced Nov. 18, following the close of voting.
