Tamaqua police reported the following incidents:

• Exavia Love, 52, of Tamaqua, was charged with violating a Protection from Abuse order following a 10:34 a.m. Oct. 8 incident on the 100 block of Market Street in Tamaqua.

Police said that Love entered the home despite having an active PFA against her.

• Police charged Bobby Jo Williams, 52, of Coaldale, with simple assault and harassment following a 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9 domestic dispute on the 100 block of Sixth Street in Coaldale.

The victim told police that Williams hit her and showed officers a bruise near her hip. Williams denied hitting her, police said.

Williams is free on $5,000 unsecured bail.
