Theresa Santai Gaffney, Schuylkill County register of wills and clerk of the Orphans Court, released August activities.

During the month, 76 estates were processed; 80 marriage licenses were issued; and one adoption was completed.

Approximately $1.74 million in inheritance tax was remitted to the commonwealth, and about $38,700 in county fees were collected.
