Pleasant Valley Contracts
The Pleasant Valley School Board approved the following purchases during their meeting on Thursday.
• RippleEffects — Resilience classroom kits with a one-year digital subscription to be paid from Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency grant, $23,400.
• Johnson Controls — high school camera upgrade and installation, $78,315.28 to be paid from bond fund.
• Higher Information Group LLC — Staffing agreement for print shop specialist.
• Colonial Intermediate Unit #20 — Special Education services for 2026-2027 school year, $2,273,439; and one-on-one job coaching services for a student from Sept. 14 to Dec. 8, $63.15 per hour for 60 hours, not to exceed $3,789.
• Premier Environments — Ruckus STEAM worktables, PVMS; $4,382.48, to be paid for from Ready to Learn grant.
• Metz Amusement and Concessions — Class of 2027 dunk tank rental for bonfire, on Oct. 15, $235.
• Montgomery County Intermediate Unit — Mimecast Package 2, from Sept. 25 to June 30, 2027, $5,865 per year.
• Instructure Parchment — Alumni transcript printing service, Sept. 26 to Sept. 25, 2027, no cost to district.
• BerkOne — Homestead/Farmstead Application Mailing Option B, 4 cents per mailing without return envelope.
• Sodexo — Renewal Service Agreement for district teacher lounger vending machines; no cost to district.
• M&M Sight-N-Sound — DJ services for Homecoming dance, Oct 10, $1,000, paid by PVHS Student Government Association.
• Premier Environments — PVHS cafeteria seating and tables; $5,225.80, to be paid from bond fund.
• Gifted Education Professional Development Agreement — $1,500.
• IntegraOne — Network equipment, wiring and installation for PVHS computer lab, eSports Lab and IDF (intermediate distribution frame for network connections), $71,139.33, to be paid from PVHS bond fund.
• IntegraOne — Purchase HP Chromebook Touchscreen, $1,696.65.
• Berkshire System Group Inc. — Two inspections and testing of PVHS Paint Booth Suppression System inspection at PVHS, $569, and 34 ABC fire extinguishers, 10 pounds each, one 5-pound fire extinguisher, and 2 CO2 fire extinguishers for PVHS, $6,346.67.
• Mind Matters — Independent Educational Evaluation Service contract, $5,000.
The school board also approved discarding out-of-date educational materials in the guidance office at Pleasant Valley Elementary School.
