Marian Catholic High School is inviting alumni, families and friends to “Colt Country” on Saturday for the school’s fourth annual Homecoming Alumni Tailgate, followed by the Marian Colts homecoming football game against Shenandoah Valley.
The school is extending a special and additional invitation to alumni of the former Bishop Hafey and Cardinal Brennan high schools.
“Homecoming is about much more than a football game — it is about friendships, memories and the special sense of community that stays with us long after graduation,” said the Rev. Robert Finlan, Marian principal.
“We look forward to welcoming our Marian alumni home and are especially pleased to extend that welcome to the alumni of Bishop Hafey and Cardinal Brennan. We hope they will join us for an afternoon and evening celebrating Catholic education, friendship and community.”
The tailgate runs from 3:30-6 p.m. on the Marian Catholic campus, giving alumni an opportunity to reconnect with classmates, visit with old friends and teachers, enjoy food and games, and celebrate the friendships and traditions that have connected generations of the Marian family.
The tailgate is free for Marian alumni and their immediate family members. Kickoff for the football game is at 7 p.m.
Reservations for the tailgate are required and can be made by emailing jcerullo@mariancatholichs.org.
