No one was injured in a three-vehicle crash at 11:53 a.m. Aug. 11 on Route 100 in Lowhill Township, state police at the Fogelsville barracks said.

Police said the crash occurred when a male driver, operating a southbound vehicle, hit the back of a 2016 Toyota Highlander driven by Katie A. Staib, 21, of Allentown. After the initial impact, police said the vehicle that struck the Highlander was then struck by a 2015 Jeep Cherokee operated by Mikayla C. Rex, 27, of Germansville.

Police said the driver of the vehicle exited it, inspected the vehicle damages, reentered the vehicle and fled.

The Highlander and Cherokee had minor damage, police said.

Rex was issued a written warning for following too closely, according to police.
