The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will host job fairs in Carbon and Northampton counties.

The one in Carbon will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the PennDOT Carbon County Office, 930 Bridge St., Lehighton.

PennDOT will host a job fair from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the PennDOT Northampton County office, 3300 Freemansburg Ave., Easton.

Both events will include on-site interviews with job offers.

Those interested in a career with PennDOT are encouraged to attend the event to learn about the various opportunities available. District and county employees will be on hand to answer questions regarding employment and assist attendees with the application process.

PennDOT is looking to fill a variety of positions in the county, including CDL operators, auto and diesel mechanics, and tradesman helpers. CDL operators should bring their current driver’s license and medical card.
