Interested in leaving a legacy in Summit Hill?

People have until Aug. 31 to purchase pavers to be included in the Memorial Park pathway.

Money for the pavers, which are $100 each, should be submitted to the borough office. All check should be made out to CCCF (Carbon County Community Foundation).

When submitting payment, people need to include their name and a phone number, so a Summit Hill Arts Committee member can call and find out what should be engraved on the paver.

The pavers are expected to be placed in the pathway in October.

A park renovation project is being spearheaded by resident Marlene Basiago, who is a member of the Summit Hill Borough Council and heads the newly formed arts committee.

Components of the project include construction of the pathway and repairs to a wall.
