The Summit Hill Recreation Commission will host a back-to-school picnic at 1 p.m. Sunday in the borough’s Ludlow Park.
Kathy Gieniec, chairman of the commission, said featured will be a live eagle and a presentation about the majestic bird by Franklin Klock of the Carbon County Environmental Education Center.
She said the eagle event will be a 30-minute interactive program.
During the picnic, youngsters will be treated to hot dogs, drinks and a back-to-school gift bag.
