Weatherly Area School Board approved the following agenda items last week:

• The junior high and varsity cheerleading squads attending the Pine Forest Cheer Camp at Chestnut Lake from Aug. 18-21. Four coaches and 17 cheerleaders will be attending; three school vans will be needed for transportation.

• Game workers at rates of $30 per game, scorekeepers, ticket takers and clock operators; $45 game, game managers, Elijah Derr, Melissa Isom, Rachel Witner, Kellye Zoscin, Brian Kaminski, Nicole Selert, Staci Ray, John Furmanchin, Beth Dolinsky, Ryan Kately, Robert Selert, Anthony McKeegan, Tracy Earhart, Nicole Hinkle, John McGee, Michele Selert and Connie Derr.

• 2026-27 volunteer weight room supervisors: Brian Kaminski, Paul DiGennaro, Scott Zoscin, Kellye Zoscin and Jeff Donad.

Contracts

• CLIU 21 Technology Pool Legal Services Consultation Agreement from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.

• County Security Police Contract at $25.50 per hour per person for event coverage for the 2026-27 school year (rate up 50 cents an hour from last year).

• Rohrer Bus Company van and bus driver list for the 2026-27 school year.

• WASD bus/van stops and bus/vans routes for the 2026-27 school year.

• Adult meal price of $5.01 per the recommendation of the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the United States Department of Agriculture.

• Approve the negative lunch balance write-off for graduated students. Note: Board member Tyree Harris indicated an anonymous donor plans to pay off the school’s negative lunch balance. More details will be given at the September meeting.

• Donation from the Weatherly Faith Church of $500 for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support program supplies. The donation allows the school to provide school supplies and backpacks to students and families that have a need. The church makes this donation every year.
