Tresckow man facing drug charges after raid at home

State police said they found methamphetamine and other illegal drugs at the home of Michael Scarlato, 36, of Tresckow.

Police executed a search warrant at Scarlato’s home on June 16 and said they found the following:

• 272 grams of methamphetamine.

• More than 1,000 bags of suspected fentanyl packaged in bags imprinted with names like Vigilante, Devil and Monster High.

• Suspected LSD.

• Two bags of marijuana.

• One bag of an unknown white powder.

• Three vials containing anabolic steroid.

• A number of pills.

• Digital scales, packaging materials and pill bottles.

Police said Scarlato also had $2,200 in cash.

He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Joseph Homanko of Weatherly on three counts of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver; and single counts of criminal use of communication facility, possession of a controlled substance, possession of small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was freed on $250,000 unsecured bail after arraignment earlier this week.

A preliminary hearing before Homanko has been scheduled for Wednesday, according to court papers.
