State police at Troop M, Fogelsville arrested two New Jersey men on Monday on charges relating to their theft of cooking oil from a county restaurant.

Dashon T. Ross, 41, of Newark, and Yusef Brooks, 34, of Roselle, were charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition, possession of instruments of crime and criminal trespass. Brooks is also facing a charge of false identification to law enforcement authorities.

Police said the men, utilizing a rental box truck, stole the oil from the Outback Steakhouse, 800 North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township.

Police are asking any other local business in the county who may have recently had cooking oil stolen from their establishment to contact Trooper Anthony Chidiac, 610-395-1438.
