Lehighton Borough Council took the following action on Monday:

• Awarded a contract for Annex pump replacement to Mek-Tek HVAC, in the amount of $12,389.

• Agreed to advertise an ordinance for police pension plan consistency.

• Adopted an ordinance amending the borough’s pension plan.

• Adopted a resolution for the Lehighton/Mahoning Township utility agreement.

• Adopted a resolution setting the 2026 base electric rates.

• Approved Miranda Bowman’s Car, Bike, Truck & Craft Show Halloween Event from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 11.
